Talk It Out:
Frugal Meal Planning

"Some of the state universities have county extension or home economics programs that have articles on low-cost menu planning, recipes and shopping lists. Do you think your readers would mind sharing any links they have to these kinds of sites? Thanks." ~ Angel

"Lately, I've gotten a lot of good ideas from www.urbanhomemaker.com. Marilyn Moll hosts phone conferences where you can listen to her interview a mom expert. I caught her interview with three ladies who freeze meals, each with a different motivation (economy, healthy food, fellowship). I enjoyed the one who was most concerned with economy, but all had great tips. Marilyn even has a little e-book that she links to that has some really good meals that are not extravagant." ~ Anne Margaret

"To cut down on costs for feeding my family of seven, I bulk cook with girlfriends every two and a half to three months! We often make our meals for around $3.00 a piece (not including meat). These meals can often feed my family twice!  We have so much fun spending a day together and laughing!  Throw in some chocolate and the day is perfect!  On our 'Grande Cooking' day, as we call it, we will assemble over 150 meals together. Each gal chooses how many meals of each recipe that she wants. I often will load up my freezer with 40 or so meals! We usually make 12-16 different recipes. I wrote an ebook with step by step directions and information that we have learned over the last 5 years of cooking together! I wanted to teach other moms how to save money and make more time in their day! Go to www.GrandeCooking.com for more information!" ~ Blessings, Lisa Taylor

"The www.flylady.com website is an awesome resource for many different situations that have to do with cooking, cleaning and organizing." ~ Kim
