Talk It Out

The Counting the Cost "Talk It Out" feature is a chance for readers and website visitors to share ideas and insights from personal experience. The concept is simple. When someone submits a question or problem he/she is having trouble solving, we'll present that question to our readers/visitors and ask that they write in with their advice or suggestions. The best of the responses we receive will be featured in the following issue of the e-zine.

 

"I am a room mom for my son’s 4^th grade class this year. I would like to hear your readers’ most creative ideas for gifts the class can give to the teacher to thank her for all she’s done this year. Because many of our families are on limited budgets, I don’t want to ask for too much of a donation from each family. I am looking for ways to allow parents to comfortably give or do what they can afford, rather than requesting a set dollar amount to be used toward a gift. Thanks in advance." ~ Sandra
