Talk It Out

The Counting the Cost "Talk It Out" feature is a chance for readers and website visitors to share ideas and insights from personal experience. The concept is simple. When someone submits a question or problem he/she is having trouble solving, we'll present that question to our readers/visitors and ask that they write in with their advice or suggestions. The best of the responses we receive will be featured in the following issue of the e-zine.

Examples of Previous "Talk It Out" Questions:

"We are working on getting in a position for me to be able to stay at home with our son and one of the biggest obstacles we are encountering is medical insurance. We are currently covered through my job at a great price. Options through my husband’s job are high priced for not good coverage. I have checked Blue Cross/Blue Shield for family coverage and their prices are okay, but I would like to look at some others in comparison. Do you and your readers have any suggestions?" ~ Lynn

"Regarding budgets - I wish somebody would talk to those of us who have a mate
that absolutely will not stick to a budget… Budgets only work if people allow them to. Some people just absolutely can't or won't stick with a budget. I could use a little help in this area. I have no problem living within a budget but my husband does… I've tried talking, pleading, crying, suggesting and threatening and nothing has worked so far. Maybe somebody else has a suggestion I can try…" ~ Victoria
